Football: the good and the bad

Well cheerleading was officially over for the season on Sunday.

Football on the other hand was not.  The good news is Navi’s  team made it to the playoffs.  Yeah!!!  The bad news is at practice last night he may or may not have broken his arm.  THe ER doctors couldn’t seem to agree, so for now he is in a splint, and will go be re exrayed in a few days where they will decide how to proceed, either by letting him out of the splint and calling it a bruise, or by putting him in a cast.  We will just have to wait and see.

Navi has requested that either way, he go to his playoff game this weekend, even if it means he stands on the side lines the whole time.  Aba and I have both said that is fine.  I say he deserves to go and at least see the game since he helped the team get there, and Aba said thats being a team player.  Now, we just have to tell the coaches, all 7 of them.

For the record, he had fun at practice tonite ( as he does everynight) until he got hurt.  He got hurt on the last play when it was getting dark, while playing offense by being “hit from behind, which is illegal…”  which he explained to everyone who asked, and in the ER thats everyone.
