Early on a saturday morning
It is early for a Saturday morning to be up and about, if it were a weekday I would be moving and grooving, but on Saturdays, especially in winter time I get to take it a little slower. But today is a special day, today is a day that Aba is going back to school! Well, farmer school, for a day anyways. He went to the maple workshop over at Bakers maple (BTW if you need any maple products, Baker is definitely the way to go, they are fabulous and they ship
). We are actually having a little warm spell so it should be pretty nice for him if not slushy ( it broke 40 yesterday here and was already 18 degrees when he left at 6:30 this morning, for the past several weeks we have been lucky if we were breaking 0 by 9am!!).
The kids have all woken up, their little body clocks don’t realize what a weekend means apparently, and Aba and I moving about did not help that so much, and are now once again all piled in my bed watching cartoons while tucked under the warm covers (we have fleece sheets, a down comforter, and a regular comforter on our bed with lots of pillows, so even though our room is the coldest in the house, the bed is the warmest and cosiest if not a bit crowded at this moment with children pushing and shoving each other for an extra inch and complaining that someone is wiggling, has their knees up, or sitting on them, etc. - they have flannel sheets, we just found out about the warmth of fleece sheets at Hanukkah. Best. gift. ever.)
As they sit watching cartoons I am typing away reading blogs and commenting ( it is one of my resolutions to try and comment more often, we’ll see how long it lasts) I found a great video over at Oh, The Joys, the current host of the ROFL awards you have got to see it even if it is a little late. It is reggae with a calypso feel (okay, I am not so good with music so I may be completely wrong here) but I love it, and I know Aba will too, it is just his style of music.
what do you think isn’t it a great song? I love the feel it reminds me of one of my morning chore songs
(here are the actual words to the song) although I know that I never get them all right!!
just imagine me singing it to the cows and sheep while I milk Belle, well with out the interruptions by Fozzy! I am sure it makes their day!!!
Well, it has started snowing big white fluffy movie flakes, that must mean it is time for me to head out to the barn and Aba’s class is moving outdoors!

under the pictures on the side bar there is a orange button that says subscribe, just click on that. Or most readers you can add blogs manually. I use google reader, and I just copy and paste the blog address into the subscribe bar. If you still have trouble let me know and I will try to help you out.
