Gingerbread house
Why spend $10 for a gingerbread kit with a tiny amount of candy, when you can make it yourself and spend the whole $10 on candy? Not us!
First I made the gingerbread and assembled the house so the decorating could begin!
with 5 whole bowls of candy!!!
I was on “glue” duty!!
Someone couldn’t wait to take a taste! (Is that ink in his ear?) Ai Ai Ai!!!
Grandma had to put on just one more piece, apparently a gingerbread house isn’t complete until every bit of gingerbread is covered and you fear it may fall from the sheer weight of the candies!
The house has since collapsed thanks to Littles and is being devoured a piece at a time to the kids delight (and Grandmas dismay, she felt it should stand through the holidays untouched). It tastes pretty good even if it is a little hard (being meant to stand firm for a month or so) but being eaten up at record speed.

That is great! My fav is the naked little cherub with the perfect pigtails and suspiciously chubby cheeks!! LOL
That house looks awesome, what a great idea. Good onya Grandma!
Love the pic of the candy behind the back
Nope that is not ink in his ear, that is M&M. Melts in your ear, not in your hand. Wait. What?
Mouth, ear, same diff.
