Pictures!

I just  realized I forgot to post birthday pics from Littles birthday, so here they are!

We do things real low key here, once upon a time we used to do Birthday breakfasts, followed by special activities, birthday presents, a birthday dinner out at a restaurant followed by birthday cake and a birthday party complete with friends, presents (a second round), another birthday cake party favors and decorations and bags of gifts for the party goers for each child.  It was insane.

Now we do a birthday dinner (at home) of the birthday kids choosing and a homemade cake, pie or ice cream cake.  I like this way much better.  It is once again a birthday, not a birth week celebration.  So anyways she had Mac n’ cheese for dinner with homemade bread and butter and then this yummy triple chocolate cake with chocolate chips covered with chocolate fudge frosting with mini chocolate chips.  It was chocolaty!!! 1. I love that she refuses to wear a diaper, too. Or panties?

I find birthdays to be so exhausting. This year we actually did not have a big party for Marissa, mostly because of budget constraints, but also because she does not really love things like that…just a family party, which she loved. I think I like the way you guys do it. Nice and simple.

OMG, how weird is this? I was just typing about birthdays and Caleb walked in and started telling me about what kind of pizza he wants everyone to have at his birthday party. He is kinda psychic. It creeps me out when he does that. I have no idea why he is thinking about his birthday. It is not until May. The end of May. He is so obnoxious. Totally reading this as I type it. I should stop now!

PS Robin, you need a picture of yourself in the sidebar, too. Just cause you are the Mommy, does not mean you do not have to put a picture of yourself. It *is* your blog after all.

PSS Caleb just asked if he could come over. He said he want to play with all your kids. I think he just wants that yummy looking cake.

Sorry my comment is so ridiculously long and drawn out.

  2. i LOVE it! it’s so much easier to clean chocolate off a nekkid baby than one with clothes on! (at least that’s what i used to tell myself)

  3. Mrs. F she wears fake pullups, with little fairy princesses on them, when I can get her to keep them on. Caleb can talk to the kids with skype, do you have a webcam?

  4. Our youngest point blank refuses to wear clothes and pull ups we have given up now…
