a conundrum

how does a chickend up on the front stoop?
The front stoop that is 350 feet, over 2 bridges across the road and up a flight of stairs from teh bran?
Through a closed barn door, a closed coop door, and a latched brooder?
We are all very confused. So far we have several hypothosys
1. a child brought it over and left it outside.
2. Esther the barn cat found it and brought it over to give to us.
3. a raccoon dropped it.
4. It managed to survive the great raccoon attack of May 14th
any other guesses? We will probably never know. The mysteries of farm life.

Could it be someone else’s chicken? …there totally should be a “chicken joke” to go with this!
