“We are selling our life, to get to our dream” – Aba
last night we sold our beautiful painting. Granted, it would not have had a place in our 1841 farm house, but still it is a bit sad. Next up is the 1974 260Z, hopefully someone will bid on it on ebay will it be you?
I am extremely stressed at this moment. We still have not heard back from the sellers about the contingencies (IE: septic and radon repairs) we are now less than 2 weeks out and they are playing games, I need to change our address at the post office, get a telephone number, put our address on our websites, finalize the movers, etc. etc. etc.

What a car!! I got a big chuckle out of picturing it behind that barn with a chicken on the hood! Talk about offloading baggage and making a fresh start! Congratulations! Trading in a car for some Carharrts and a beautiful painting for a gorgeous view–awesome!!
Ha ha I thought the description of the car was so funny. I have no idea why, maybe it was the whole repo factor.
Mommymommyland: The Repo factor. It is the white trash moment of my life.
Hi, you left a comment on my Other Side of NY blog. What part of NY are you moving to?
Carhardts are lovely, but go for the Schmidts—just as durable and much less expensive.
Sorry to hear about the stress. I hope it resolves itself soon. Moving is stressful, no two ways about it.
