Gymnastics, Ballet, and Tap, Oh, my!

Navi started Gymnastics yesterday, apparently he had a great time ( Nathan took him) and some of the moms made of point of talking very loudly about their bat mitzvas ( I have no idea how to spell that and spell check isnt helping sorry)apparently  so that Nathan would feel more comfortable and know there are other Jews in the class,  Navi worked on the parallel bars, pummel horse, trampoline and floor exercises and when they returned home said Mommy, I like it can you sign me up please? before he even got in the door (it was a trial class to see how it went) , good thing I signed him up while he was at class so he is all ready to go.  Poor little guy though at bedtime he said his arm hurt, so we had to Ben Gay him up.  Felt better this morning though.

Bailey started ballet and tap this morning, and looks so cute in her class, all the little girls wear pink tights and black leotards and their dance shoes.  They have a one way window the moms can look through during class, and they were all paying such good attention to the teacher, following the moves she did, shuffle steps and the such.  She has been so excited to go, and seemed to be enjoying herself, but is in the stage where they say they dont like things, because they dont like that they have to stop, like after you give them a lollipop and they eat it you ask if they like it and they answer no.  Meaning no they dont like that they ate it all and they want another one (a very confusing and annoying stage in my book).  So since she said she didnt like it I am assuming that means she loved it (at least based on how well she participated in class and the big smile on her face when it was over).

Well, summer is almost over, Kindergarten officially starts for Navi on the 30th (unless they send another note in the mail that we are not able to start yet again he was originally supposed to start on the 14th, but there was a little problem of the school not being finished yet) .  And Bailey begins Preschool on the 5th.  Soooo we will see how it goes.
