web designing + new programs = frustration!!!

I am starting to hate working on the computer!!!  I try to get “up-to-date” and more “technological” programs, but then everytime I turn around I feel like a complete idiot and can not get the friggin’ thing to do what I want it to!  I recently aquired Photoshop, illustrator, golive, etc ( the “Creative Suite” CS2- although I am not feeling very creative with it at the moment) so I could fix things up a bit, and have more completed looking projects.  As a stay at home mom you have no idea how much computer stuff people ask you to do.  My moms website, for example, was fine and easy to edit before, but now everytime I want to change the smallest thing I am staring at the computer making mistakes for what seems like hours till I get frustrated and give up!  I try to touch up the kids photos in photoshop (you know get rid of the dirty dish in the background, or the cut on someones nose) and all I do is make it worse!  I try to make up invitations for Brians bachelor party, well actually that program – illustator I have pretty much figured out.  But would it kill adobe to give you an instruction guide with the software? I mean besides the online tutorial, an actual book that you can see at THE SAME TIME as you are working on the project at hand?And why can’t the library to stock some up to date technological how to books ( I mean a go live 5 tutorial will NOT help me at all).  Oh well guess I am going to have to go tho the book store, weed through the hundreds of books there and hope I can find something useful.  Well, wish me luck, I am off to see what I can find, and hopefully finish the freakin web updates I have been murdering all week long. ( Which has to be done and published by Tuesday by the way.  AAAYYYYYYWWWYYYYA!
